Avinash's got out of the show after a double eviction in the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode. His removal from the show surprised many on the internet who believed he could have been the top five finalists of this season. The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actor who feels the same said, “I definitely think I should have been on top five in the finale. I am surprised myself because my game had really changed in the last 3-4 weeks. From getting stronger in the game to giving my best, I didn’t expect eviction, honestly. If it's all because of social media followers, then I agree that I was never much active.”

I definitely think I should have been on top five in the finale. I am surprised myself. I didn’t expect eviction.

Does Avinash think social media is now the in-charge of the show, especially with contestants like Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav? “Yes, that’s what I am saying. That is the only closure I have given to myself that it has come down to followers and social media activeness.” But, how much is it fair for an OTT-based reality show? He opined, “I don’t think it is fair. Somewhere you should also focus on how they are playing their game and how strong they are. The real boss is the public, so can't help it.”

Falaq Naaz previously told HT, “Avinash will meet me when he will be out.” Did the two connect yet? Avinash spilled the tea, “We have already met during a small dinner with me and Jad (Hadid). Obviously whatever with her in Bigg Boss was real. It wasn’t pre-planned or I was doing it just for the sake of it.” He further rubbishes claims of his connection with Falaq being scripted. “Meri taraf se bilkul scripted ya fake nahi tha (My feelings were not scripted or fake). I only found Falaq genuine in the house.”

My feelings for Falaq Naaz were never scripted or fake in Bigg Boss.

In a big turn of events in the house, Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan, became the first contestant to qualify to finale after winning a task. Pooja Bhatt, whose team lost to Abhishek, was upset and emotional about it. While viewers think only Abhishek can beat Pooja, being one of the strongest housemates, Avinash shared his take.

“Pooja Bhatt is a senior person from the industry. Leaving the age and senior factors aside, I have great respect for her. The kind of woman she is and her deep thoughts, it reflects in her. I was a Pooja Bhatt fan but after actually knowing her (in BB house), I have become a true fan," he said.

"I agree with her. Bus followers, followers ho raha hai (only followers are being considered). What she said is ki humne toh life me jaise kuch kia hi nahi hai. Yeh sawal ek 51-year-old k dimag me ayegi when 24-26 years of creators don’t respect those who have created the industry (She said she is being treated as if she has no achievements in life. She is bound to think of these things when creators like Abhishek don't respect her),” he said.

“I used to face these things from Abhishek, he would say it behind my back. He would comment on my age or say Avinash ne kia hi kya hai? Avinahs ne bus 11 serials and reality shows kiye hai, aur kya. I was hundred per cent sure mai uske finale round ka kata banunga (Abhishek would question my career. I was sure about giving him a tough competition in the finale). But things went in his favour and there was nothing left in the game. Everyone got hurt during the game,” added Avinash.

While Avinash remained locked inside the Bigg Boss house, Palak Purswani made shocking claims against him. From accusing him of cheating on her to claiming her father's heart attack occurred after her breakup with Avinash, Palak shared a lot with the media. While Avinash is yet to read them all, he asserted nothing matters to him.

"When my mom had come to visit me in Bigg Boss, I tried asking her what was happening outside. I wanted to actually mean if Palak has done anything while I was inside. I knew she would have done something and she exactly did the same.

"Talking about cheating, I have clarified it in front of everyone in the show. I don't believe in repeating myself. My thoughts are clear about her. A friend of mine told me that she is claiming her dad got a heart attack because of me, why these things are surfacing now and from where, it’s beyond my imagination. If these things were true, why didn’t she say it during interviews after our break up? Only she knows why she is revealing them now.

Palak Purswani please get over me. It's been 1 year and 9 months. I am done mentally. Getting out of the Bigg Boss house in the first week was a big slap.

"I have never spoken ill about anyone with whom I had a relationship. Ek hanth se taali nahi bajti (it works from both ways). I don't want to reveal what she has done. I have only one message: Please get over me. It's been 1 year and 9 months. I am done mentally. Getting out of the Bigg Boss house in the first week was a big slap. I supported her in the house. I gave her BB money. She was nice to me when needed my support, BB money. Once she left the house, she started saying these things. Does that mean you were acting or fake inside the house? These questions arise in my mind now. But it’s irrelevant; it is not even one per cent important in my life.

"My parents' reaction matter to me. They are happy that I didn’t lose even one per cent of my dignity. People have got to know the real me and that’s important to me. No matter if Abhishek calls me immature, what Palak says. Real life matters. My parents are proud of me," he signed off.
