A few Opposition parties such as the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) supported the government on the bill

3 murder 74-yr-old man, hit 2 others in snatching spree in Delhi

Delhi’s AIIMS seeks environmental nod for building new services block

The proposal was put in front of Delhi’s state expert appraisal committee (SEAC) last week, and the body has now set forward 49 terms of reference

The institute had earlier received EC to build this block in 2012, but only three basements and the ground floor could be completed, and the clearance expired in 2019. Northeast Delhi riots: LG nod to prosecute six

Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has granted prosecution sanction for six individuals involved in the 2020 Delhi riots, where a man died due to gunshot injury. The riots were a result of protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Separately, Saxena also granted sanction for prosecution in a case related to the desecration of a statue of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
