DTCP notice to 350 more house owners for running business units in Ggm
The enforcement wing of the DTCP in Gurugram has issued over 350 show cause notices to property owners for allowing illegal commercial establishments in their properties. In total, 700 notices have been issued in the past month. The department is identifying residential premises with the help of survey teams and plans to take strict action against violators.

Cops scan social media, ask residents to refrain from sharing violent posts
Police in Nuh, India have scanned over 5,500 social media accounts and compiled a list of 800 people with licensed weapons in their investigation into the communal violence that occurred on Monday. Two dedicated teams have also been formed to check if licensed weapons were used in the violence. The police have arrested 145 rioters, registered 56 FIRs, and blocked over 3,500 sim cards. They are monitoring social media accounts and have urged the public to refrain from sharing posts that may fuel hatred among communities. Gurugram police have registered 29 FIRs and made 51 arrests in connection with the violence.

Haryana violence: SIT formed to probe attack on mosque
Gurugram police have formed a special investigation team to probe the attack on a mosque and murder of its imam allegedly by a Hindu mob. Police have warned against circulating inflammatory messages or videos on social media and are conducting searches to arrest more suspects. A mosque was set on fire in Nuh but no injuries were reported. The internet has been suspended in the district until 5 August as a precautionary measure. Six people have died in the clashes so far.
